Beaks and Noses Inc is a Registered Non Profit in the State of Massachusetts,and considered a charitable organization by the IRS. We do not get financial support from the state or the government, nor do we have a vet on staff. We rely on donations to help care for the birds here at Beaks and Noses.We are a small group of volunteers spread out across the 6 New England states, ready to help any Bird in need - whether it be a tiny finch or a Macaw. We work with various Humane Society's and Shelters. In addition we will work with people that have a need to surrender their Birds to us. Most of the bird surrenders are now due to our economy and foreclosures.
All of our Birds with the exception of the special needs birds will be ready for adoption after they have been quarantined in our approved Isolation room, and known to be disease and/or parasite free. The special needs are not up for adoption, but will live their life out here at Beaks and Noses |
